Queensland Professionals introduce new Green Personal Loans

The Queensland Professional Credit Union has introduced a new loan product for environmentally friendly consumer products. This is a personal loan at a discounted rate which applies to purchases of the following products:

• Water tanks and guttering
• Water saving devices such as shower heads, toilets, plumbing, bore water piping etc.
• Solar energy devices that save electricity e.g. solar hot water systems, solar generators, retrofit kits (attached to electric hot water systems)
• Energy efficient and water saving white goods e.g. washing machines, dishwashers, dryers, fridges and freezers.
• Grey water treatment systems – converting grey water to reusable water.
• Insulation – walls and ceilings.
• Double glazing on windows. 
• External awnings.

The loan features the same benefits as a Queensland Professional Credit Union Personal Loan including:

• Quick approval
• Free Death insurance on first named borrower up to 65 years of age
• Repayments can be daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly
• Flexible terms and repayment options
• Interest calculated daily and charged monthly in arrears
• No ongoing maintenance fees
• No penalty for early payout
