The Queensland Professional Credit Union was originally established in 1967 by Public Service Employees for Public Service employees.

The Queensland Professional Credit Union has provided professional financial services for over 40 years. In previous years, membership was open only to the employees of the Government, Educational organisations, Hospitals and other related organisations. Today the Queensland Professional Credit Union invites any person to apply for membership.
